Created in 1979, the CCOE (Club des
Collectionneurs d'Objets d'Écriture, « Writing Equipment
Collectors’ Club ») gathers French and foreign collectors
interested by these items.

Nibs, nib boxes, dip pens, fountain-pens, inkwells, ink bottles, pen-tray,
blotting papers, post cards, pencils, pencil sharpeners, propelling
pencils, pen wipers, typewriters, ...
The CCOE has two main purposes :
Help and develop the knowledge of its members
Facilitate the development and increase their collection
With this aim in view,
it publishes in french 3 times a year a 50 page journal «
Le Fil de la plume » which gathers feature articles, reproductions
of early documents. A « Lettre du Club » is being sent
4 times a year to the members of the CCOE with a leading article about
the life of the Club, as well as classified advertisements. Once a
year the list of the members with their complete address is issued
and published. Each month a letter is being sent by mail to the members
of the Club.
Besides the Club annually organises
two or three meetings where the members who wish it can present their
collections, exchange or sell their articles.
